2008

A snowstorm video as a metaphor for the constant bombardment of transmissions surrounding each of us. Video shot at Wave Farm of a Catskill snowfall. The audio uses shortwave sounds and transmissions with, samples from Alexis Bhagat's tuning into Asian shortwave stations during the first night of the U.S.-Iraq war, plus a distorted FM3 Buddha Machine, other radios, records, and electronics. All of the voices are heard but saturated with shortwave static, so mostly unintelligible.
