Este Martes, Abril 23 de 11am hasta 12pm Nuestra Música presenta Jazz y Blues un Preludio al show de Abril 30 que será dedicado a Latinx Jazz en la fecha que se festeja el Día Internacional del Jazz. Con la influencia del Jazz originado en las comunidades afroamericanas de New Orleans y el Blues del Delta del Mississippi, pero con su estilo Latino con instrumentos, lenguas y ritmos propios, presentamos a Pappo, Oscar Alemán, El Proyecto de Jazz Afrocubano, UCHPA, Pocho Sánchez, Memphis La Blusera y muchos más.

As a prelude to next Tuesday's show dedicated to International Jazz Day, we are presenting this Tuesday April 23 Jazz and Blues. Influenced by the Afro American jazz of New Orleans and the Mississippi Delta Blues, but with Latino instruments, languages and rhythms we are presenting Pappo, Oscar Aleman, the Afro Cuban Jazz Project, UCHPA and more.

“Nuestra Música,” “Our Music,” presents the rhythms and folklore of Latin America, Spain, Portugal and Cape Verde. From Tango to Flamenco and all Latinx music in between. The show explores the native instruments, languages and traditions played in 22 countries and one territory. Other than Spanish and Portuguese, Nuestra Música presents songs in Quechua, Mapuche, Guaraní, Nahuatl, Gallego, Spanish Basque, and Catalán. Among many styles we present: Tango, Chacarera, Baguala, Zamba with a Z and Samba with and S, Bossa Nova, Cumbia, Llanero, Vallenato, Merengue, Parrandera, Son, Bolero, Ranchera, Corrido, Marimba, Fado, Flamenco, Sevillanas, Jota, Blues, Jazz, Danzon, Mambo and many more.
