RADIO ANARCHITECTURE WITH THE GOLD DROP
Sept. 29, 2005: 1 p.m. – Oct. 2, 2005
free103point9 Online Radio
Apo33s intervention in the AUDIOWALK festival (Sound drop workshop) in the Goutte dor quarter (Paris) during the Nuit Blanche comes to New York!
Radio Anarchitecture constists peripatetic sound performances/exchanges between 2 teams of apo33s Intervention Cell (CIA). One team is located in the Goutte dOr (Square Léon) in Paris and the other operating in Brooklyn, New York (in collaboration with Dion Workman, the free103point9 collective, and the August Sound Coalition). Both teams will synchronize their intervention in real time from two different space-time contexts. Each team will modify the others environment through a digital automated device operating in a network. The collected sounds are transformed and diffused into each performance context through mobile radio devices, thus building a spatialization in constant movement.
Apo33s intervention will start in the Goutte dOr during the evening of Friday the 30th of September, from 6 P.M. (GMT) and in Williamsburg, New York, Friday September 30 at 2pm (EST).
Please join us! Bring your favorite sound collecting devices, or use ours! This is a participatory event.
Come to Fort Seriously, 97 Montrose (btw Leonard and Manhattan) 12-6pm Friday and Saturday.
The intervention will be webcast at http://free103point9.org and http://radio.apo33.org
