JUNKO HEMMI
Junko Hemmi, originally from Japan, has been composing music in the USA for the past decade. Early collaborations include Meme Shell and Candy Cane where she would write,play bass, and sing in the spirit of the shoegaze music style. Her newest project -- The Dove and the Buttercup Dream -- which can be heard here: http://www.myspace.com/thedovethebuttercupdream and utilizes and experiments with more acoustic sounds such as xylophone, bells, and music boxes. Presently, her main inspiration is nature and dreamscapes.
